Before this song was released, many people believed that LL Cool J's career was on a wane. He was encouraged by his grandmother to "knock out the critics". He did, and this track still blows up clubs weekly.

So, a few friends of mine are really into AMVs, and I've seen a few and they are mostly terrible. But this one seems to be among the most well done. Every hit, every beat in the track is syncronised with a hit in the anime clips. It's really quite well done.
