In 1979, the John Belushi version "Money (That's What I Want)" was popular because of the "Animal House" soundtrack. But this is another version that received radio play at that time. It's from the British avant-garde experimental rock group, The Flying Lizards. It is a favorite of mine.

When listening to the commentary of the DVD, the actors mention that even though naturally they chugged with colored water, they did some of their takes with actual maple syrup! Those are some twisted dudes, Broken Lizard is!

This was a real urban myth in the making back in the late 80's. Hilarious reports were on the news daily of sightings. Check out the "artist rendering" in this clip. It's uh....really good.

When he starts flinging quarters, it makes me very happy! One of the best scenes from a GREAT comedy!
