They asked him to model different numbers with various colors of clay and he has unique shapes for all numbers. He was asked to model specific numbers again later and made the same shapes! He sees characteristics of primes and non primes differently in those shapes. He first does a "moderate" calculation by dividing 62 through 167 to the first 30 decimal places. The second example has him calculating 67 to the 33rd power.
