I've never played any of these games, and this guy's reviews wouldn't matter that much to me in deciding which ones to try. But I really love these videos. Genuinely funny stuff.

Wow - I only laughed once during that entire review, and then got a chuckle at the TF2 stuff - Either it's the 12 hour workday taking it's toll, or I guess this one just wasn't that funny.

Yeah, this one wasn't as hilarious as many of the others, but for me that may because I already knew exactly what to expect.

Badass as always. Sucks to learn there isnt any consequences in Sim City anymore. I remember 2000 where if you werent careful violence would erupt, fires would start, money would dwindle, until you lose everything you worked for as the city is destroyed by a tornado...or alien attack.

yeah, this one is far more accurate than hilarious (not that I've played this game)...unless you laugh at blasphemous religious humor (I do).

Well, I don't mean to rain on your parade arsenault, but take a look at the playlist of all the reviews. Most of them have between 15 and 20 comments, and only a few of the earlier ones have less than 10. So I'm really not sure where you're getting the whole "hardly any comments" thing.

I don't know about you people who said it wasn't as funny, I still laughed out loud, embarrassing myself at work... again... I didn't find the end as funny as the Painkiller one, but maybe that's because I hate, hate, hate online shooters (against anything other than people you know in the same room as you), whereas I played Painkiller quite a bit, and found the cut scenes to be utterly terrible.

I'm surprised Yahtzee didn't mention that this isn't a true SimCity game in any sense. Rather, EA now owns the SimCity title, and decided to slap it on this game to increase sales and trick fans of the series. But not only is this the first SimCity game not developed by Maxis, the new developer threw out all of the gameplay and style of the original.
