Actually, it is probably more likely that the audience purposefully picked the wrong answer to such an obvious answer. Nice, but no vote due to the "we surrender" tag.

anybody able to speak french and give a literal translation of the question? it has the word gravite in it, which looks an awful lot like gravity. a question about how gravitating bodies effect each other would be a lot less straight forward than one about orbits.

No, that's right: What orbits around the Earth? I'd hate to see Americans tested. Those tags read a bit, I dunno, Youtuberude. I'd say, hey, they might not know that the moon orbits the earth, but heck, at least they're not spending 1,000,000,000,000 in Iraq. Just sayin'.

In France, we are wondering why we must pay taxes for this sort of crap.
All the competitors for this kind of game are complete idiots or worst. But this emission isn't the place where the dumbest are. Look for "Le Maillon Faible".
As we say here in France, it's a "pearl".
The finest idiots from all over the country are carefully selected in order to produce the shittiest game on earth ...
