Not alot of information on IMDB about this film but looks like it's loosely base on the short film of same title done by Shane Acker from back in 2005. That film was sifted about 2 years ago.

Yeah, I remember this from the festivals... it blew me away... good for Shane!
Also, it was shocking to realize he's the same guy who did this other short I remember from back in 2000:
