Uh, no. you're not a man. You have a vagina, a uterus and fallopian tubes. You're a woman that had her breasts cut off and grew a beard. And if you feel it necessary to make excuses for that bulge under your shirt, I don't think that you truly think that what you are doing is acceptable.

And holy shit. Which one is going to be called "mommy"? I feel really bad for the as of yet unborn child that will be tormented in their life, constantly being reminded that a fake guy gave birth to them.

I can only hope for the child's sake that all the unnatural and disgusting things "Thomas" did to her body won't threaten the child's life.

^ I have to disagree with you there, MGR. Most children of gay couples that I have seen and heard of are really quite well-adjusted.

Most gay or transgendered people have had to go through a lot of soul-searching and personal growth to get to a place where they feel happy and comfortable with themselves, and sometimes that involves surgery as well. I think their journey tends to increase their levels of tolerance and non-judgementalism, which likely makes them better parents as well.

Personally I'm very impressed with the level of self-confidence and fortitude that this couple has shown by going public with their story.

I'm not saying their kids will be mal-adjusted. But this unborn child will receive torment for being born of a "man".

Well, some communities are much more accepting than others; hopefully they live in an area where having a transgendered dad won't be an issue. Anyway, most kids get tormented about something along the way — I got teased mercilessly for having non-tanning skin when I grew up in Africa. My nickname was Casper the Friendly Ghost.

In biology, gender is ultimately a spectrum rather than a dichotomy, which makes someone having a male brain in a female body less surprising.

One of the theories is that a spike in testosterone can occur in the pregnancy at a point that is more formative for the brain than for the rest of the body, resulting in an otherwise female embryo with a masculinized brain.
