Sylvia Brown is a horrible evil person. I feel so bad for the people that get sucked into her manipulative lies. I think some people really think they are psychic and just trick themselves into believing it. Sylvia Brown, on the other hand, really knows she is full of shit and is taking advantage of desperate vulnerable people.

almost makes me laugh... but it's just too sad!

She's clearly just plucking stuff out of their air and trying really hard to cold read them (this is what all psychics do - it's nothing but cold reading!)

What most people do though is forget the times she's wrong and remember the times she's right because it strikes such a chord!.

My mum believes in all this shit. Keeps telling me that a psychic correctly identified that her dad called her "sparrowlegs" as a nickname, and also her brother's nickname - whatever that was.

It was a booked interview so with enough information available i assume she could have researched this in some clever way perhaps? But anyway, if i hear that tape i'll get back to you!

I think most sane people would agree that Sylvia and may of those like her are a bunch of hacks.

What is equally bad however is scum like Montel continually having her on his show. Larry King is not much better. People look to the Montels and Larry's as "reliable" so if they believe it, then it must be true.

They are equally to blame!

If you think that some random woman can tell you things about your deceased relative, then you haven't learned to accept the grief that accompanies the loss of a loved one. Eventually everyone dies and everyone around them must learn to cope with it.
