Technically, since it got discarded before it got Sifted, it did escape the Sift.

So what are the rules with something like this? Is mine considered a dupe if the other person discarded their video?

Nope, yours is good. I knew I had seen it before and did a search. I just thought it was funny that gunrock made the same comment about it not being sifted yet.
