I've seen this device being demonstrated before. Pretty impressive. I'm sure Taser will come up with their own net device that also delivers a continuous 70,000 volt shock when it lands on the perpetrator. What's their corporate motto? "If it don't hurt, it ain't law enforcement."

From the demos it does not look like this will do much to stop the perp from shooting up whomever is in site, though it may stop him from getting away.

Any info on how the net stands up to a razor-sharp knife?
