By now most everyone knows the release date (11/19) and price ($250).
There is a wii Sports bowling demo at 10:45
The Wii channels demonstration start at 22:15

I'm a little disappointed with the price, for that money they should include two controllers.
But at least they're including a game (who does THAT nowadays?) and the online is free.

[edit] by the way the date/price is for North America. Other regions are:
Europe--December 8, 250 euro
Japan--December 2, unknown price
Australia--December 7, 400 AU

Am thinking am gonna get it. But the price is steep for someting that is basically a gamecube with a motion sensing controller.

I can't belive people are complaining about $250. Seriously why does every one think a game has to have incredible graphics to be fun. Give me an awesome 2d platformer any day I'll gladdly pay $500 for a system that has consistantly fun games, even if the graphics are totaly the same as the GC.

The Wii does have a substantial jump in power from the GC. It has intergrated Wifi ($100 on xbox) and it comes bundled with a game. Now all I need to do is get one at launch.

Yeah but the technology is unproven, and yes Nintendo has had a good track record on the DS but this is a whole new tech, there's no telling how good the games will be. And yeah, 250 is alot for a console. It just feels like a martket embargo because Nintendo knows it is price cutting the 360 and the PS3 already so they can set the price a bit higher.
