Staged as all hell. The kid had a pillow under his shirt. Either he really wants to be a mommy, or he wanted to cushion his 'wipeout'. I bet this kid was angling for a new tv.

No, I'm pretty sure this was a real (not staged) clip. He meant to do that as part of the move. After all, what kid has $600 laying around for a new tv?

I'm inclined to agree with MGR and say he planned the dive as some way of getting maximum momentum into the swing and he did not actually mean to let go of the controller

This reminds me of a really unfortunate babysitting night when I decided to bring Wii bowling and the rest is... another $2000 for a new tv.
