No doubt this is art, if you've seen the raw frames these images are assembled from, you would be certain that its an artistic endeavor to bring about these final products.

Many of these galaxies appear about 1/8th to 1/15th the size of the moon as observed by naked eye.

I love this stuff. Kronos, I bet you have the "astronomy picture of the day" bookmarked for daily viewing like I do.

One of the great spiritual conundrums for me has always been the "you can look, but you can't touch," construction of the universe. Bound by the physics of motion and interstellar geography, this is eternal home for mankind. No warp speeds possible. No 5 year missions to seek out new worlds. That's why we need to keep our house clean, it's the only one we will ever have.

Sorry, I've put a damper on this wonderful video.
