I'm doubtful this is real as I think a lot more balloons than that is necessary...any other thoughts?

If you've ever seen the MythBusters episode where they fly a small child, you'd automatically know that this is fake.
Or you can simply skip that episode, and use common sense.

Saw an episode of braniacs where they floated john tickle. they used some very large balloons equal to something like 1000 normal helium balloons each. think it was 33000 ish for a man. so a car is way off.

Here is the video of the "Behind the scenes" it was lifted with a crane.

Apparently they work for a digital effects studio, and when contacted, initially denied it. Talking to the neighbours of the house where it was filmed, they said they brought in a crane. After contacting Ford, who did the original commercial of the Ford being lifted by balloons, ford admitted they paid actors and the effect studio to create this "viral" ad.
