Halo 1 was awesome, great weapon balance, interesting levels, and a good story, then Halo 2 came along with all the hype, and personally, i thought it wasn't as good as it could have been. The story was pretty uninteresting, and the weapons weren't as balanced either. Its because of that that i'm much rather looking forward to Assassins Creed, althought i'll still get Halo 3 just to find out what happens, but its not really top of my list. Upvote though for a new trailer.

It's really too bad they sold the rights to Myth.

Halo 3 actually reminds me much more of Halo 1, which is a good thing, hopefully sans the repetitiveness in some areas of the 1st.

They have got a lot at stake critically. Commercially they are going to be very successful. I just hope they have an interesting Campaign this time around as I found Halo 2 a tedious and amateurishly written story in the way that over-excited fan-fiction can be.
Multiplayer will be great, the one game that I know everyone on my friends list will get - many wasted nights beckon.

wow looks great, yeah Halo 1 was great well teh multiplayer anyway i still play the multiplayer. Halo 2 well did they went vista only on it and erm i cnat be bothered to try it.

Still haven't played Halo 2 (I'm a PC gamer for life, but I won't be a Vista user till next January). Didn't really like the first. I thought it was highly repetitive - Some of the levels looked the same, some were designed in a monotonous way, and I wasn't much for the gun/enemy selection. Not that the guns/enemies weren't good, but there wasn't enough variety. I never understood all the fuss.

This reminds me to go and finish Halo 1 at some point in time... hopefully my saved game is still there, I was pretty far along.

They sold the rights to Myth? Nuts!

BTW, PC Gamer reports that you can actually run Halo 2 on XP. I surmise someone will do that... oh look.

Yes you can run Halo 2 on XP but ofc theres no Multiplayer (at least when i tried and yes i bought it). Im sticking with XP still anyway.

The graphics are out dated and the game is crap theres better games on the PC than Halo 2 its a joke really 3 years too late.
