after checking the sift archives i did find a similar video of a shark breaching. however, i m not sure if it is a dupe. this video is a lot longer in length with commentary.

just think this is so amazing. it is a clip from an extremely well made documentary series by the BBC called Blue Planet. After each 45 minute episode they have a segment called Diaries; were they explain the process of capturing such breath taking footage. the slow motion detail was made possible by using cameras that are normally used to record car crash tests.
