How do you know about it? Very cool.

Sc

My meal at Alinea was one of the most creative & delicious meals of my entire life. If at all possible, go there.

The chef, Thomas Kellar is the only american born chef to have 3 stars from le guide michelin, and he currently has a total of something like 8, which puts him in super-chef stratus. What's more, the cookbooks for The French Laundry and Bouchon, his Bistro in Napa, are absolutely gorgeous, and widely distributed and extremely popular in the cooking world. Also, a full third of Michael Ruhlman's book "The Soul of A Chef" is devoted to the French Laundry.
