I watched this last night, it was nothing surprising, but simply surreal.

We're stuck in Iraq because we don't want to look like fools after 4 1/2 years of war.

Apparently, several people have watched it here and decided it's not relevant. Interesting. I suppose preemptive critiques of the general's report are immensely valuable, but the report itself - not so much.

I watched it live and nearly wretched. Wasn't going to give it a vote, but jonny made a good point.

The disgusting thing is that everything that Patraeus said could have been predicted by any critic who has been following the activities of the Bush administration.

All is well, we're making progress, just give us another six months; repeat.
