Seems intresting. More intresting than plain soccer, but too much similar to it nonetheless.

There are penalties, and penalties suck hard.
There is goalkeeper, and goalkeeper is not a nice thing too.

What are the high poles used for? I mean, they have a part in the game, or they are there just because the stadium is used for rugby too?

Scoring-

If the ball goes over the crossbar, a point is scored and a white flag is raised by an umpire. If the ball goes below the crossbar, a goal, worth three points, is scored, and a green flag is raised by an umpire. The goal is guarded by a goalkeeper.

Im from ireland, Cork to be percise and has to be one of the greatest sports to watch and play, hurling is just great craic to play, now thats irish slang for ya!!!
