the thing is, he is actually turning the orb , it is just polished (and lubricated) just right so that it looks like it does not move at all. pretty simple to do with a nice big clear marble and some baby oil, making it appear to not shift around at all, is really hard though

I did contact for a while.. it is really difficult. This guy is using a particularly large ball, which makes it a bit easier.
