I disagree that Kweli sold out, his sound just changed.

If you pay attention you'll notice that even in his shining moment with Black Star, Kweli is not pulling his own weight. The best thing he did for Black Star was bring Hi-Tek along with him. Without Mos and Hi-Tek he fell back to where he has always been. He kept himself relevant after it became apparent that he just isn't that good by "selling out."
