Yul Brynner and Aliosha Dimitrievitch met when Yul was a teen in Paris. They sang together in Paris nightclubs in the 1930s and in New York in the 1940s, before Yul hit it big as an actor.

They recorded an album together in 1967 (?) The Gypsy and I: Yul Sings Gypsy Songs.

I have been looking for this video ever since I saw them sing on the Ed Sullivan Show (1967).
