Well, thanks for saying so! I didn't mean for it to become what it did, but I took the challenge, I suppose. Sometimes I think that it isn't worth it, though. They'll never see my side. Have you ever seen that movie called "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?" My favorite part is when they find the most coveted weapon in the universe: A point-of-view gun. When you shoot someone with it, they completely understand your point of view. Man, I wish I had one of those!

Thanks for hosting one of the first religion threads I've read in a long time that didn't instantly degrade into "lol religion is 4 morans." You deserve like 500 star points for that!

No, thanks for the great comment that you made about YouTube not being the place to look. I couldn't agree with you more. We could definitely use more of your perspective around here. I just think that Mormons need a few non-Mormon friends to combat all of the RIDICULOUS anti-Mormon propaganda that goes around. The amount of persecution and the way that it is tolerated by intelligent people is SHOCKING, really. I'd like to see them meet a few non-Utah Mormons, go to the church a few times, and come out calling it a cult. Not to say that all Utah Mormons are crazy, but I think a much higher percentage in that area may have some superstitious tendencies. Perhaps because they need to defend themselves from opposition less often, some just follow the crowd and don't really "get it". But, seriously, I might sooner call evangelical churches cults, which I wouldn't.

Speaking as a Mormon myself, the video seems to be pretty straight forward. As with everything else in live there are always a great deal more in the details but if you really want to learn all that then YouTube is probably a poor place to look.

I'm not nearly eloquent enough to join in this debate though and thepinky seems to know what she is talking about.

The Tex Avery television video you upvoted was a dupe. How about a little vote love for the first post? http://www.videosift.com/video/The-TV-of-the-Future-Tex-Avery

no, but an adult that has the same irrational ideas as a child is scary.

Thats a lot of re-queuing.

I don't understand your comment, because they have an irrational grasp on reality as children they will unavoidably become irrational adults? Sounds like nonsense.
