X Greetings! You are not currently logged in, but please don't let that stop you from voting up any videos you like. :)
Why does this option not exist? I don't know about anyone else, but I've been known to drink and surftheweb on occasion. I don't believe this has yet been made illegal although it probably should be at times. However, drinking or not, we all say some dumb stuff online at times that we wish we could either delete or rephrase. Also, misspellings and typos come to mind as well.

Why is there no option to delete or edit our own comments anymore? I know their used to be. I comment and contribute to the site much less than I used to since this option was taken away. Please bring it back. Follow Reddit's example.

Is anyone in agreement with me? Are there any good reasons to not allow people to edit or delete their own comments?

Speaking of comments, why does our comment history not go back as far as it used to either?

The sift is starting to remind me of my place of employment; slowing taking away all the perks we once had.

These suggestions have probably been mentioned by someone at some point, but what the hell, if so, I apologize and here they are again.

I think we should be able to vote for which playlists we think are good. Then they can be sorted in the same way regular videos are based on most votes per week, month, year, all time.

I'm just a little disappointed with the ability to find good playlists and a voting system for them would make it much easier and add a new level to finding great playlists.

And I know this suggestion is asking a lot, but is there a way to add both full screen playing feature as well as auto play feature to the playlists?

It would be so great if we could find a good playlist and full screen it on our computers and then have it play though all the clips automatically without having to choose the next one manually. Maybe this could also work with the channels? It seems like it could work; aren't the videos all resized to max size already when we submit them to the sift?

Then, for example, we could watch a whole bunch of random sports clips or family guy clips (or both) in a row without needing to do anything. Holy crap, if this happened I'd never leave Videosift.

Thanks for reading.

In case you didn't hear.

Somehow I'm not suprised. Of course this will have no impact on the VS community. I just wanted to share the news of google becoming one step closer to taking over the world.

May I suggest that when people click on the "members" link, the members are sorted by rank instead of alphabetically...

I thought it was a great option and since adding the new video source sites, I see that it disappeared. I find myself going directly to Youtube and Google for most videos anyway so I can watch them full screen (especially for longer videos).

Are you planning on bringing this "bigger" option back, or better yet, creating your own full screen button? I'd much rather remain on videosift to watch clips in full screen mode if I could.

I like watching videos on the "TV computer" I have set up in my living room, but it's hard to see what's going on in a tiny window sometimes with such crappy TV resolution..

Would it be possible to log all the 'embed' code somewhere so when a person tries to submit a video and it's already on videosift, they would get a duplication error? Seems like something similar to that would save Dag and others time deleting dupe posts..

Unfortunately, people don't use very good tags sometimes so just trying to search for a video you want to add that is already on videosift will not always be found. It's happened to me a few times.
