Age 12 I found a plastic bag full of adult magazines at the edge of a forest. I slung the bag over my handlebars and rode off home to enjoy my score. Halfway there, the bag slipped and clamped my front brake closed and the mags shredded in my wheel. I flew over the handlebars and landed in a bloody mess on the pavement with pieces of flesh-toned paper scattered around me. I learned a lesson that day.
