I had to have Sam x-rayed at an emergency clinic last fall because he ingested a ton of chicken broth soaked paper towels he pilfered from a garbage bag (at least thats what we think caused his troubles) He was really sick for a week or so. When I post a video (not all videos), I often times am thinking of other sifters who would enjoy viewing the video. After being on the sift for awhile you get a feel for who enjoys what. I may look at videos with similar subject matter to see who may have bookmarked it, had an interesting comment to make, etc... I will often times leave a comment for those (usually between 2-10 sifters), whom I think, would truly like to view the video I posted. So, my question is, do you find this intrusive or inappropriate? Your honest feedback would be much appreciated.

Well ant, I have bad news and good news:
The bad news: The embed code they offer at Acceptable.tv doesn't look Flash-based, so at least for now I don't think you'll be able to grab embeds from them.
The GOOD news: Look at the embed codes they offer. Notice how they all include "flash.revver.com"? That means that this site is in some way affiliated with Revver, and that's good because:
You can grab the six digit number that immediately follows "mediaId:" (gosh, I love boldface) and then do this:
1. Type "http://revver.com/video/" into your browser's address bar (bookmark it if you think you'll be doing this a lot), then after that...
2. Add the six digit number that followed "mediaId" in the embed code of the desired video at Acceptable.tv
3. Press "Enter", and
TA DA!
You'll have that same video at Revver! Just make sure when you grab the embed code at Revver that you click the "More Options" box next to the code, because the default code they offer also isn't Flash enabled, and therefore it won't work. When you click the "More Options" box a "Select a format" menu should appear. Choose the "Flash embed" option, and then the box that appears below it will have the Flash embed code. Then you'll be in business, brother.
