as far as i know, you'd have to get a gold star member or higher member to *save your discarded video. This sends it back to the queue one more time. There's no limit on how many times you can have someone *save it until it escapes the queue with 10 votes.. At which point you can get a gold star member or higher member to *promote a published video (videos that have escaped the 10 vote queue limit and have gotten published on the front page already) to bring it back to the front page directly so it can get more votes.

It depends on the content of the video if a gold star member or higher member thinks a video is worthy of a *save or a *promote. But I'm pretty lenient, in my opinon as are the others, if you can just ask one of us to do something like that we'd gladly help you out.

Another thing you can do is: If you look at the top of the page, theres a link called "Playlists". On that page, you'll see some playlists by some members called "save worthy" or "videos to save". You can suggest videos you want to have saved to their playlists by entering the full videosift url of the discarded video on their playlist page where it says "suggest a video".

You have to re-submit. You'll need to choose a different title though, or else VS will say its a dupe. Which is a known bug.
